In celebration of the DVD release of Dylan Mohan Gray’s ferocious documentary Fire in the Blood, The Moviejerk is giving away two (2) DVD copies to our lovely, loyal readers – courtesy of UK film distributor Network Releasing. Only recently, we’ve handed copies of the similarly-themed doc How To Survive A Plague (congrats to those who won), and Gray’s work would prove a fitting double-bill to that of David France’s rousing AIDS-crisis doc.
I’ve written a full review here – but to those unaware of this documentary, Fire in the Blood is a startling, eye-opening look into the Western pharmaceutical companies’ stranglehold on the AIDS drugs and their fierce monopoly throughout the African and Asian continents. This is a globe-spanning treatise on the Big Pharmas, as sanctioned by governments, and how they blocked many third-world countries from access to affordable antiretroviral drugs, shutting down manufacturers in Thailand and India through corrupt trade policies as decreed by the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Conspiracy? More than that. It’s practically business-induced genocide.
So – get the chance to win a copy of this terrific doc by filling out the form below and see the film for yourself.[promosimple id=”4390″]
